Ergon Mykonos Trojan Horse Decor are inspired by the Trojan Horse. In Greek mythology the Trojan Horse was a construction inspired by Odysseus. It was a horse which served as a hiding-place, with the view to deceiving the Trojans who regarded it as a present from the ancient Greeks. In reality, it was a construction bearing the most prominent Greek heroes. With the advent of the horse in Troy, the Greeks came out and opened the gates to the remaining warriors, thus triggering the capture of the city.
All of the Ergon Mykonos creations are inspired by the images of Greek history and mythology, elements and materials of our rich culture and are customised to the contemporary, minimal aesthetic & pop culture. Mitos collection is named after the myth of Minotaur and Mitos; the thread that princes Ariadne gave to Theseus to escape the Labyrinth. Mitos collection, the homeware collection follows the aesthetics of Minoan and Cycladic art and presents unique handmade items with their own personality, and with references to the Greek history.
