Promachos Gold sandals are part of Athena collection inspired from the ancient goddess and her symbol, the olive, urges us to claim a personal fulfillment while aiming for victory. ‘Promachos’ means the one who fights front line. The statue of the goddess Athena Promachos was placed in Acropolis, it depicted the goddess in full armour ready to fight. The Promachos sandals can be worn with shorts or with the petite black or white dress. Sandals are handcrafted in Greece of finest quality leather and designed in simple and powerful lines that aspire confidence and strength, while the symbol of victory can be seen in the cut out patterns as its reminder. The color palette is inspired from the greek olive groves, their golden green leaves and the ground.
Kalliniki was created to combine the conventional methods with a modern and innovative perspective of designing. The lines are mainly geometrical and minimal and their aim is to show the power, the elegance, and the independent spirit of modern women, turning sandals into shoes that can be worn from morning to night.

Kalliope and Niki Mastromanoli were born and raised in Karpathos. Inevitably, they were influenced by the lifestyle and the methods used to make clothes and shoes. Their desire to adjust and enhance the traditional techniques of making shoes, combined with their love for creation and their restless spirit, lead them to the decision of pursuing professionally the industry and in particular the making of sandals.
Kalliope has graduated from Political Science Department in Kapodistriakon University.
After her graduation, she attended fashion design and decoration workshops.
Since 2010, she works in the manufacturing industry of shoes.
Niki has graduated from Design & Manufacturing Shoes department.
During her studies, she co-operated with shoe companies in the design sector, while she created her first personal collection of men’s shoes.

All Kalliniki sandals are handcrafted upon order. The presumed time of their manufacturing is estimated to be 10 days. In case that the products are available in warehouse, they will be delivered to you within 3 business days in Greece and 5-7 business days to other countries. For orders above 400EUR that are shipped outside Greece, the shipping costs are free.
