Concept

The Cyclades name derives from a group of islands in the Aegean sea forming a circle (Cyclos) around the sacred island of Delos.

Cyclades draws its inspiration from ancient art, nature and Mythology to create timeless luxury silk scarves and fashion accessories that have a mythical character. Geometrical shapes, human figures, ancient gods and elements from Greek history are transformed into wearable art pieces. This creates a blend of luxury and elegance that promotes the beauty and creativity of the Greek heritage.

About

Leto Lama is a third generation artist and designer who is based in London. Born in Greece, Leto grew up immersed in the art of her family; she started studying at the age of 5 under the supervision of artists Gianna Persaki and Eva Persaki. She now exhibits her works internationally, her paintings can be found in private collections in Europe and Asia. The passion she has for fashion, design and art acted as a foundation to launch the Cyclades brand.

The process begins with drawings, illustrations and experiments in color and composition that will lead to the finished design. Cyclades scarves are printed on high quality silk twill and are hand rolled. Every piece is produced to the highest standard, offering a luxury finish of mythical Greek design.
