The idea lays on Greek Evil Eye ‘Mati’ lucky charms believed to have the power to protect from jealousy and negative energy and it recalls the ancient Greek periapts (small pendant charms).
The ‘Mati’ is highlighted as a symbolism with the creation of a modern version of lucky charms based on fish’s shape. Fish as a symbol, has many interpretations from the ancient to the modern world. In this Bord De L’ Eau Fish collection, it is used with the meaning of freedom and power. ‘Fish’ – a symbol of life that belongs to the bottom of the sea, i.e. at the depth of every human soul.
