Ergon Mykonos: emblematic Byzantium
Ergon Mykonos Byzantium is the brand’s new collection inspired by Byzantium or Byzantion, an ancient Greek colony in early antiquity with its later capital Constantinople that is today’s Istanbul. The origins of Byzantium are shrouded in legend but this combination of imperialism and location would affect Constantinople’s role as the nexus between the continents of Europe and Asia.
