Artpeckers: Spiritual patterns
Artpeckers Ηeptagon bags collection is inspired by Iresioni, the olive tree branch Greeks were decorating from the end of September until the beginning of October. This branch was decorated with white and red wool, walnuts, chestnuts, almonds, figs and cereals. It was an act that symbolized people’s thanksgiving to the Gods for the past year’s prosperity.

At the end of the day and after singing carols from house to house, they would hang the branch wishing to continue this prosperity and welfare for the year to come as well. This was the tradition of Iresioni, which traveled to Northern Europe where, as the years went by, became what everyone came to know as the Christmas Tree.
