Artpeckers : Odyssey motifs
The Artpeckers Odyssey collection is a series of statement prints beach accessories, inspired by the Odysseus’s adventures, part of the mythology history, narrated by Homer. The creations express themselves by their forms, by their materials, by the drawing. An identity borrowed from tradition, recognizable throughout the world.

From waterproof scuba beach pouches to oversized beach bags, beyond the aesthetic, the Artpeckers Odyssey collection put forward a practical side, with the removable kits. A two in one bag with, on one side, a tote bag and a top-pocket on the other side that can be removed and be used as a beach pocket.
ARTPECKERS ODYSSEY COLLECTION
The names given to the products come from those of History: Circe, Cyclop but also Calypso. Circe, the daughter of the god Sun, is known to turn her enemies into animals. She offered to Odysseus’ companions some of her magic wine and, with a touch of her wand, turned them into pigs. Her symbol in Odyssey collection is witch’s feathers.

Calypso, known as a nymph, welcomed Ulysse during his long trip. Deeply in love with him, she hold him by her side seven years before letting him making his way back home. On the other hand, Cyclop, is for Polyphemus who lost his eye from Odysseus and his companions by driving into his eye a wooden staff, with a burned pointy edge. His symbol in Odyssey collection is an eye.

Since 2015, Artpeckers is the result of a common reflection : expressing through the creation a message, telling through the image a story. Artpeckers main goal is to spread the Greek heritage and mythology all over the world, using contemporary design language. Geometric shapes and patterns give abstract forms to stories inspired by Greek mythology, tales & customs.
